Below, we outline our approach to Product Reviews, Editorial Videos, and Affiliate Links, ensuring our audience can trust the content we produce.

Agreement to This Policy

By sending products to TechManPat for consideration, or by engaging TechManPat for any form of content creation, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms of this Review and Disclosure Policy in full. This includes acceptance that all Product Reviews are unpaid, independent, and opinion-based, and that Editorial Videos, while sponsored, remain editorially controlled by TechManPat.

Brands, agencies, or representatives unwilling to operate under these conditions should not send products, request coverage, or initiate commercial discussions. TechManPat will not adjust, negotiate, or compromise this policy under any circumstances. Compliance with this policy is a prerequisite for any collaboration.

Product Reviews (Unpaid Reviews)

TechManPat’s product reviews are conducted under a strict no-compensation model to preserve complete impartiality. When you see a video labeled as a Product Review, you can be confident in the following principles:

• Unpaid and Unbiased: All reviews labeled as “Product Review” are unpaid. TechManPat may receive products from brands for review purposes, but no monetary compensation is accepted. This ensures there is no financial incentive that could sway our opinions or conclusions.
• Independent Evaluation: The review process is completely independent. Brands or manufacturers have no influence over our opinions, the content of our scripts, or the final verdict. We do not allow sponsors or product providers to preview or alter our reviews. Every review reflects TechManPat’s genuine assessment, free from external pressure.
• Authentic Experience Reporting: TechManPat reviews reflect the authentic user experience with each product. We openly share any problems, bugs, or shortcomings encountered during testing, no issue is swept under the rug. If a problem is later fixed or the product is improved (for example, through a firmware update or revised unit), we will acknowledge those fixes to provide an up-to-date and fair evaluation. Our goal is to give viewers an honest picture, including both the positives and negatives of each product.
• Audience-First Credibility: Our viewers come first. Every review is created with the audience’s best interest in mind. We prioritize credibility and fairness above all else. Editorial Videos (Sponsored Overviews)

In addition to reviews, TechManPat produces editorial videos that are sponsored by brands. These sponsored segments are handled with the same commitment to transparency and integrity. When watching an Editorial (sponsored overview) on TechManPat, here’s what you can expect:

• Clear Sponsorship Disclosure: All sponsored editorial videos are clearly labeled as such. We comply with YouTube’s platform policies by including the “Includes Paid Promotion” label and a “Sponsored” disclosure in the video description (and sometimes in the title or on-screen). Viewers will always know upfront that a video is sponsored.
• Not a Review, Sponsored Overview: Editorial videos are not reviews, they are brand-sponsored overviews or highlights of a product or service. In these videos, TechManPat showcases features, functionality, and user experience in an informative way. We make it clear that the content is promotional in nature, and we do not issue a review score or verdict as we would in an unpaid review. The emphasis is on demonstration and information, not critique.
• Editorial Independence: Even though a brand is sponsoring an editorial video, TechManPat retains full editorial control over the content. Our team may communicate with the sponsoring brand before publication, for instance, to ask questions or inform them of any issues we’ve discovered, but the final content is ours alone. Sponsors do not get to script the video, and they cannot veto our decision to mention certain aspects. In short, the presence of sponsorship does not silence our genuine observations.
• Transparency About Issues: TechManPat remains committed to honesty in sponsored content. If we encounter any unresolved or significant issues while preparing a sponsored overview, we will openly mention those issues in the video. We give the brand an opportunity to address concerns before release, but if a problem persists or materially affects the user experience, our viewers will hear about it. The goal is to showcase the product honestly, highlighting its features and benefits, but also being upfront about any limitations.
• Viewer Trust First: Every sponsored editorial is crafted to provide value to our viewers above all. We appreciate our sponsors, but our loyalty lies with our audience. TechManPat will only engage in sponsorships that align with our content and that we believe will be interesting or useful to viewers. Even in paid overviews, we strive to be informative, fair, and true to what we observe, so our audience can enjoy the content confidently knowing we haven’t compromised our integrity.

Affiliate Disclosure

To support the channel’s operations, TechManPat participates in affiliate marketing programs. We are transparent about how we use affiliate links and how they affect (or rather, do not affect) our content:

• Use of Affiliate Links: Some video descriptions on TechManPat contain affiliate links to products or services we discuss. We never give favorable coverage to a product because it has an affiliate program, nor do we avoid criticizing a product that we have affiliate links for. Whenever affiliate links are used, we make sure to disclose it clearly (for example, in the video description with a note like “Disclosure: These are affiliate links…”).
