TechManPat only collects information needed to run the website, respond to enquiries, understand useful journeys and send updates people have asked to receive.
Email list
When you join the TechManPat email list, the site stores your email address, selected topic preferences, signup source, consent date and subscription status. This information is used only to send TechManPat updates and understand which subjects subscribers want.
The site keeps a record of consent and unsubscribe status so an address that opts out is not accidentally emailed again. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in an email, the unsubscribe page, or by contacting TechManPat.
Website measurement
The site records basic conversion events such as clicks to Compare, Labs, Vault, YouTube and partnership enquiries. These events help improve the site and do not include the contents of private emails or enquiries.
Service providers
TechManPat uses hosting, database and email-delivery providers to operate the site and send requested updates. They receive only the information needed to provide those services and are not permitted to use the mailing list for their own marketing.
